I've been a beer snob since way before it was cool.
So I find it amusing that now Budweiser is coming out with a wheat beer. They are smart, realizing that people want a little something extra. When I went to the liquor store, the guy was impressed with all my purchases, except for the Bud Lite Golden Wheat. "You'll be back for the regular stuff," he told me. "The Blue Moon or whatever you usually drink."*
I also bought this crazy looking wine - pinot grigio in a straight bottle, picked solely because the bottle looks cool. I also pick books by the cover. Yup.
I'm drinking the BL Golden Wheat right now. It's good.
But I have a feeling it's going to be a false alarm.
Once I thought I liked the Bud Lite Chill - I think that's what it was called - but it turned out to be a misunderstanding.
