When left to my own devices, I occasionally prepare what I refer to as a Pantry Meal. I don't really say it out loud because it doesn't sound that appealing, really.
Basically, what it is is all the leftovers from dinners I cooked during the week end up as a mishmash in a pan, heated up, with extra flavorings (sauces or spices or both, depending on my mood). Usually some noodles are involved and more likely than not, cheese is melted over it.
Tonight I decided to make Pantry Soup with the leftover veggies in our fridge and ended up throwing some kielbasa in there. I'm pretty sure it's gonna be YUMMY.
Too bad I can never recreate any of the really good ones.
